Historical Tour
*Your day begins with an historical tour of downtown Vevay. An historic rivertown located on the Ohio River Scenic Byway. The historic tour can be conducted by our knowledgeable step-on guide. The tour will include stops at the Switzerland County Historical Museum, which includes the first piano in Indiana and a wine press representing Vevay as the first commercial winery in the United States, and a visit to the "Life on the Ohio" River History Museum, where you will discover what life on the river was like in days gone by. Then you can tour two beautifully restored rivertown mansions, the Rosemont Inn B & B and the Schenck Mansion B & B, they each will amaze you with their architecture and antiques. Then take a meandering tour out into the county for an authentic German meal with live entertainment at the German Corner. Take advantage of the relaxing atmosphere as you wander through the gardens. Then its back on the bus to do some shopping in the downtown district of Vevay. Savor some local flavor in a riverview setting at our newly opened Ridge Winery Tasting Room before heading to your lodging destination. Belterra Casino Resort & Spa or the Fairway Inn, located only 7 miles from Vevay.
Adventure Tour
*Enjoy a stay at the fabulous Belterra Casino Resort & Spa. Your tour starts with an overnight and a scrumptious buffet breakfast at Belterra Casino Resort & Spa. Then take a meandering drive into the country to visit the Coyote Creek Family Farm, where you will tour the Swiss-Sonian Museum which houses a collection of Indian artifacts, oddities and even a shrunken head! Visit a variety of animals including Alpacas, Buffalo, Miniature Horses, and more. Take a stroll through the gift shops and don't pass up the chance to purchase some of the owners homemade baked goods, candy or fudge to take with you on the road so as not to spoil the delicious lunch served by owner Shannon Vinson. If the season is right you can even take a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin. The adventure continues as you head to Vevay for some unique shopping in the downtown district. Then savor some local flavor on your way back to Belterra at the Ridge Winery Tasting Room, located along the picturesque banks of the Ohio River. Once back at Belterra feel free to try your luck in the Casino or relax by the pool. Whatever you choose, this will be one adventure you won't soon forget!
Swiss Heritage Tour
*Enjoy a fun filled afternoon at the Swiss Wine Festival. The Swiss Wine Festival is a four day celebration of Switzerland County's Swiss Heritage. The Festival is held every year in August at the beautiful Riverfront Park in Vevay.

Christmas Tour

Small Town Tour
Visit the tiny town of Patriot Indiana, home of Elwood Mead, engineer of the Hoover Dam. Patriot is the only incorporated town in the United States named Patriot. The town hosts a Patriotic Parade every year on the 4th of July. Shop at Fisk’s Grocery, an old time general store where you can buy anything from nickel candy to spittoons. Tour the one room jail house built in the 1820’s, with the original wooden walls and bunk beds. Visit the Old Patriot Cemetery and Odd Fellows graveyard where you will find headstones dating back to the Revolutionary War. Take a leisurely stroll along the Front Street riverwalk and see the beautiful architecture and gardens. Stop for a bite to eat at Patriot Pizza Parlor or a refreshing beverage from the Hole in the Wall.

Step-On Guide:
*Our friendly step-one guide, Tonya Krall, has over 34 years experience. Tonya requires 30 days notice, and she charges $2 per person with a minimum of 25 people or $50. Your tour will include the historical tour with over 25 sites and the Methodist Church. The length of the tour is approximately one hour with stops. She can also take you out to the German Corner if that is where you choose to dine. Contact 812-427-3844
