A Flair for Wine

Vevay Main Street presents "A Flair for Wine."  The event features four regional wineries and five area eateries including Jeff Ruby's and a live art auction.

After 6 years of helping to bring Vevay's historic business district to life, Vevay Main Street is excited to announce its first gala fundraiser.  Don't miss your chance for a great night out while helping support Vevay Main Street to continue their many programs; colorful flower pots, First Friday's and Second Saturdays at the Historic Hoosier Theater, among others.

A limited number of tickets are available for this gala event being hosted at Best Western Ogle Haus Inn's river view dining room and patio.

Wine tastings presented by Ridge Winery (Vevay, IN), Ertel Cellars Winery (Batesville, IN), River City Winery (New Albany, IN) and a fourth regional winery.

The restaurants providing food are Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse, Mo's Steakhouse, Roxano's, Los Bandidos, and Belterra.

Also participate in our live art auction with original works by the following local artists: Joe Leatherbury, original oil - Via del Lavatore, street scene in Rome; E. Michael Danner, original oil - Blue Hole, Switzerland County; Meredith Luhrs of Luhrs Studio & Fine Art Gallery, original bronze - Warrior Shield sculpture; Tony Catanzaro, original metal sculpture - Frolicing in the Air; Ann Farnsley of Market Street, original watercolor - vintage auto & historic home in Madison, IN.

Background jazz music (sax, keyboard and vocals) will be provided by the Chris Stone Trio.
