Vevay/Switzerland County is a great weekend getaway that's not far from home!

Friday Evening:

Check-in at one of relaxing b & b's or inns.

Have a delicious dinner outside at Los Bandidos and be sure to try their coconut shrimp topped with mango salsa.

After dinner walk the historic streets of Vevay with our walking trail.

Saturday:

After breakfast, hit the shops downtown including the newest shop, Of Switzerland County.  The Switzerland County Museum and Life on the Ohio Museum and sure to peak your interests.

Have lunch downtown at Roxano's Restaurant, locals vow that they have best breadsticks around.

Peruse the roads of Switzerland County by following our driving trails.  Before you head out on the adventure, make sure you register for the zipline course at Dagaz Acres, located on the driving trails.

When the stomach starts growling again, head to Mo's Steakhouse for the juicy prime rib special or Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse located inside Belterra Casino Resort & Spa.

Sunday:

Don't go straight home, make a stop at the Ridge Winery Tasting Room and take home a bottle of our heritage.  Vevay/Switzerland County is the Birthplace of American Commercial Wine Making.
